The system does have a HEPA filter, And a telescoping pipe to reach further objects that may be out of Reach. It has a 47. decibel level which makes it extremely quiet more so than previous cordless backpack vacuums that we have reviewed. The motor Is the heaviest part of the whole unit and runs at 18 volts, at 9 pounds it’s lighter than most cordless backpack vacuums that we’ve reviewed. The price of this unit is around $320 however this isn’t much of a budget unit it is cordless and most cordless units are around this price so it is in the middle of the pack as far as I’m concerned.

The Prolux is a very nice system I wouldn’t review it if i didn’t think it was worth your time to look at. The Prolux system comes in at $250 making it extremely reasonable in the grand scheme of backpack vacuums.
ProTeam Super Quarter Vacuum – this vacuum is right in the middle between commercial and consumer use, I wanted to review it because I think it’s a great system. It has standard HEPA filtration but the way it straps on really holds it close to your body, making it easier to maneuver through a house comfortably. It’s been said a backpack vacuum like this could save you up to 40% of the time it takes with a standard vacuum cleaner, that’s a great reason to buy a system like this. Time is money so just imagine what you could possibly do with the time you would save….yoga, arts & crafts, home remodel, exercise routines, who’s to say all the extra activities this system could allow. No, but seriously time is a valuable commodity and we must take that into account.
Which system (or two) would I choose to purchase right now?
Of all the systems we reviewed today, if I had to live with one for the rest of my days I would probably have to settle with the Milwaukee or the Makita because I’m a sucker for cordless systems. I just think that’s where technology is headed, with cordless systems and I believe they will only get better with time. I like the freedom that the cordless system allows me to have. Even if it’s for a limited time, I can always buy extra batteries to swap out with, to allow me more time and I’m never tripping over cords or dragging around extension cords. That was a huge selling point for me. The power of the actual brush less motors, which these two companies pride themselves on innovating, makes me feel certain I am not purchasing an “inferior” product. The level of trust these companies have also built, make it another reason why I would choose to purchase either two of those brands personally. As time progresses, you will see more powerful, longer lasting lithium ion batteries, which assures me that these products will become more streamlined, giving us the freedom to vacuum anywhere we want to, for longer periods, making sure the job is done correctly the first time.
